Physiotherapy Guided Exercise

Physiotherapy guided exercise class is a fantastic way to build core strength. It helps to improve posture and overall well-being. There is strong research evidence to show that regular core strengthening aids in reducing incidence of both acute and chronic back pain. The class has a maximum of 8 people and is run by a physiotherapist. They will adjust the level of the class to suit your needs.

Proactive Living

Falls are a serious issue as we age but they are easily preventable. Proactive living is a general fitness class for the active senior. The class is set as a circuit to involve all muscle groups and works on balance to prevent falls. The class is run by one of our Physiotherapists who can adjust the class for your individual requirements. 

Mums and Bubs

A perfect way to get back into shape after pregnancy.  Our mums and bubs group is a gentle way of addressing pelvic floor strength and general deconditioning which occurs during pregnancy. Mums work with their babies to participate in gentle floor based pilates and standing strength along with some baby massage and settling techniques.

Osteo Health Class

OA is the most common lifestyle disease in individuals 65 year of age and older, but can also affect individuals as young as 30 years of age. Current national and international clinical guidelines recommend patient education, exercise and weight loss as first line treatment for osteoarthritis. Our exercise class focusses on education for people currently living with OA along with exercises geared towards patients wanting prehab prior to a joint replacement.
